New Captain Marvel Set Video Shows Us A Full Scene

The barrage of Captain Marvel set photos and videos continues apace today as another clip has surfaced and this time, it actually shows us a full scene. The only unfortunate thing, is, is that it's the exact same one we keep seeing bits and pieces of. Yes, the past few days have brought with them numerous looks at the in-production film but it's really just been more of the same, as we see Brie Larson's titular hero facing off against a goon who's clearly no match for her.

The barrage of Captain Marvel set photos and videos continues apace today as another clip has surfaced and this time, it actually shows us a full scene. The only unfortunate thing, is, is that it’s the exact same one we keep seeing bits and pieces of. Yes, the past few days have brought with them numerous looks at the in-production film but it’s really just been more of the same, as we see Brie Larson’s titular hero facing off against a goon who’s clearly no match for her.

Down in the video below, Carl Danvers seems to be looking at a map of some sort when she crosses paths with Warcraft‘s Robert Kazinsky. It’s unclear who he’s playing or what he wants from her, but their conversation soon takes a turn for the worst when the hero crushes his hand, bringing him down with ease.

Admittedly, it’s not much, but it is the most complete look we’ve had yet at this particular scene, which keeps popping up in various set photos. Give it a watch and see what you think:

Unfortunately, it’ll probably be a while before we have the chance to see anything else from the pic. Captain Marvel is still gestating in the formative stages of development, after all, and Marvel Studios still has other matters to attend to – namely Black Panther, Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp – before it devotes its full attention to the Brie Larson-fronted spinoff. Still, we’re happy to take what we can get and if nothing else, this new video gives us another good look at that controversial green suit Carol’s wearing.

Speaking of which, fans have already begun theorizing the reason why it might not be in the traditional red, blue and gold colouring. And that’s because it looks very similar to the outfit worn by Mar-Vell, the original Captain Marvel. As such, it’s likely the more familiar costume will show up later on in the film, kind of like how Iron Man and Captain America wore proto-versions of their suits in their first solo outings.

Chalk that up as speculation for now, but we imagine that the titular hero will eventually get an upgrade at some point. If not in Captain Marvel, then probably in Avengers 4, which she’s already confirmed to be appearing in. Until then, however, we’ll have to make do with seeing her in green and we’ll continue to bring you any further set pics/videos that come our way.
