The LEGO Batman Movie hit theaters this weekend and everything is officially awesome. With extremely positive reviews, great buzz and what looks to be a healthy box office haul, the folks over at Warner Bros. must be pretty happy right about now. But it’s not only studio execs who are smiling. Lifelong fans of the Caped Crusader are likely pretty pleased with the spinoff as well, as there are a ton of references, Easter eggs and goodies sprinkled throughout the film for people to pick up on.
Some are pretty obvious and blatant, while others are clearly only there for the most hardcore of Batfans. Either way, one thing that we’re sure many people can agree on is that no matter how hard they looked, they probably weren’t able to catch every Batman villain that showed up. Be honest, how many do you think there were? 10? 15? 20? Try 39. Yup, that’s right. The LEGO Batman Movie packed in a whopping 39 villains. And that’s just the bad guys. We’re not counting all the other familiar DC faces who made surprise appearances here.
Admittedly, some of these characters are pretty obscure (and just plain bizarre) and we’re willing to bet that you haven’t even heard of a lot of them, but the folks over at Coming Soon have gone through the film and picked all the bad guys out for your convenience. Seriously, big shoutout to them as we certainly missed many of these villains upon our first viewing of the spinoff. They are there though, and in the gallery below, you’ll see proof of that, as we’ve got photos for each and every one of them.
