Marvel’s Doctor Strange is already out in theatres, but that doesn’t mean the marketing campaign has to die down. With the film continuing to pull in strong numbers at the box office, the studio is going all in on the Sorcerer Supreme’s debut, assaulting us with trailers, clips and various other pieces of promotional material.
The latest is a gorgeous batch of character posters from artist Matt Fergus. Simple yet elegant, they feature Benedict Cumberbatch’s titular hero, Tilda Swinton’s The Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Karl Mordo and Mads Mikkelsen’s Kaecilius, each set against a different colored backdop. They really are quite stunning and would no doubt make an excellent addition to any collector’s home.
With buzz already building over a sequel for the Sorcerer Supreme, and appearances booked in both Avengers: Infinity War and Thor: Ragnarok, it’s clear that the MCU’s newest hero won’t be going anywhere any time soon. And given how pleased we were with his feature film debut, we’re perfectly alright with that.
