The Hunger Games‘ official Facebook page has released a new photo from the film version of the wildly popular book series.
The photo depicts Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) waiting at The Reaping, the annual event where two children are chosen to compete in The Hunger Games, a nightmarish reality show where contestants must fight to the death while the nation watches.
Hemsworth looks awesome as Gale, a stoic young man who despises the government and The Games as openly as he can. He is the best and only friend of main character and Games contestant Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence) and may harbor feelings for her.
