Check Out The New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Props On Display At NYCC

There's still a lot we don't know about Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and understandably so. Disney has been keeping any and all plot details under lock and key, with only the vaguest bits of information leaking out in the lead up to the film's release. We expect things to stay that way, too, and don't imagine that even the upcoming full length trailer will spill very much.

Frankly, we’re quite alright with that, as it’ll actually be nice to step into a major blockbuster and not know every plot beat before the lights even go down. Still, that doesn’t mean we won’t get to see a bit more before December and along with that aforementioned trailer, the studio has now put some neat props from the film on display at New York Comic Con, which is currently underway.

Seen in the gallery below, there’s nothing terribly noteworthy here, but if it’s anything and everything from that galaxy far, far away that you’re after, then there’s certainly enough to keep you occupied. From Kylo’s now iconic mask to a closer look at Poe’s costume, these goodies won’t give anything we don’t already know away, but they’re appreciated nonetheless.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi lights up theaters on December 15th. It’s one of three major Star Wars projects in active development – the other two being Lucasfilm’s Han Solo origin story and the so-far untitled Episode IX.

Furthermore, word is Rian Johnson and Co. have rustled up a cliffhanger ending – not unlike Empire – which ought to leave Star Wars fans on edge right up until the launch of the J.J. Abrams’ film in 2019. And that’s December 2019, after Lucasfilm chose to delay the threequel soon after the swift appointment of the aforementioned director.
