Starring Jonathan Bennett and Jon Briddell, the film revolves around the titular misogynist, named Trevor, who spreads his ideology of women to anyone who will listen, promising young men everywhere that they can control the opposite sex if they learn from him. However, when a young student named Harrison, who views Trevor as a father figure, starts to get in too deep with Trevor’s misogynistic teachings, he starts to realize that his mentor might have a sinister ulterior motive.

Judging by the trailer, seen above, Misogynist looks like a truly chilling film, and given that it’s been receiving some positive buzz in the lead up to its release, we’ll definitely be checking it out once it’s available. A lot of releases coming out of the thriller genre these days are fairly recycled and dull, but this one certainly looks like it could be a hard hitting effort that strikes a chord, if you can handle the subject matter, that is.

Take a peak at the trailer above and be sure to check back for our review on Misogynist once it releases on March 3rd.
