Next year, DC’s Trinity will come together – for better or worse – in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and in anticipation of March’s grand event, Warner Bros. is hosting a big presence for the film at the ongoing New York Comic-Con. To commemorate the occasion, the studio is placing a laser focus on the costume design behind Batman, Superman and Diana Prince herself, Wonder Woman.
As detailed in the video above, a tremendous amount of care and detail went into the creation of each superhero guise, built to not only reflect the character, but also the era that they are in. Indeed, today’s video arrives on the heels of a yet-to-be-confirmed report relating to Wonder Woman’s outfits, which states that Gal Gadot’s Amazonian Warrior will don no less than three armors across as many timelines during her appearance in the DC Expanded Universe.
But it’s not all about fancy capes and badass armor, Dawn of Justice will also bring together Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter – in a role created solely for the film – and Jason Momoa making a brief cameo as Aquaman.
DC’s Trinity will march onto the silver screen – granting umpteen childhood wishes and dreams in the process – when Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice jump-starts the DC Expanded Universe on March 25, 2016.
