Now that we’re somewhat within reaching distance of Avengers: Infinity War‘s theatrical release, it’s only natural that various forms of merchandise begin flooding the marketplace. Already, we’ve gotten looks at T-shirts, backpacks and the like, and now, comes what diehards geeks may very well look forward to most.
We are, of course, talking about action figures.
Personally, this is a form of memorabilia that I really dig because you’re essentially owning a small replica of that character. Now, what’s cool about the items we’re going to discuss today is that they’re a step above what you’d find at your local toy store, but won’t drain your bank account in the way that premium figures would.
If you’re unfamiliar with SH Figuarts, they offer highly detailed action figures that bear strong likenesses to the actors they’re modeled after. Normally retailing in the range of $40-65, it’s more likely that you’ll spot them at a comic shop or convention if you choose not to go the online route. Still, you have to admit they look well worth the pursuit.
In the accompanying gallery, we see their crack at some of Infinity War‘s heaviest hitters, namely Thanos, Black Panther, Black Widow, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man (in his Iron Spider getup, no less) and Star-Lord. Honestly, I’m a fan of how pissed off they made Thanos look, so I must applaud them for getting it right.
