Online speculation is pointing to a release this coming week and now, adding to that is a big reveal from Entertainment Tonight, who’ve announced that on Monday night, they’ll be premiering a special look at the upcoming event movie. Granted, this won’t be the trailer itself, and probably more of a behind the scenes featurette consisting of interviews and perhaps a bit of new footage, but it’s without a doubt a sure sign that the next preview is imminent.

Couple this with the fact that it was already shown to investors this past week, and the embargo on set reports from various outlets apparently lifts on Tuesday, and fans could have their hands on the final Avengers: Infinity War trailer in just a few days’ time. Quite frankly, if it’s not here within the next week or so, we’d be shocked. After all, we’re now less than 50 days away from release and the marketing machine has clearly kicked into high gear, giving us a ton of new material to sink our teeth into lately.

That being said, it’s clear that Marvel is still playing things close to the chest here, with a careful and calculated strategy dictating what exactly we’re being shown. Make no mistake about it, the Powers That Be are taking every precaution necessary in order to safeguard the script penned by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. Not unlike how Wakanda has rallied behind Paul Bettany’s Vision. So even when that next bit of footage does arrive, don’t expect it to give away anything too significant.

As always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted should anymore news on the trailer surface, but if one thing’s for certain, it’s that at 156 minutes long and important enough to redraw the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it, many consider Avengers: Infinity War to be the most-anticipated movie of 2018. And we’ll finally get to see what all the fuss is about on April 27th.
