Fan Made Avengers Vs. X-Men Poster Keeps The Dream Alive

Although the next few years are giving us much to look forward to when it comes both Avengers and X-Men films, especially when you consider that we finally have something concrete on Dark Phoenix, it still seems like we have a long road ahead of us before mutants team up with Earth's Mightiest Heroes on the big screen. Yes, we eventually got Spider-Man to enter the fold, but the relationship Marvel has with Sony is much better than the one it has with Fox.

In fact, recent years haven’t been kind to superheroes appearing in movies distributed by Fox. Believe it or not, both the X-Men and Fantastic Four had been mistreated in the comics, much to the chagrin of longtime readers, with the former having Inhumans favored over them and the latter being disbanded. This, my friends, is what you call cutting off your nose to spite your face.

More recently, however, we’ve seen a bit of a turnaround at the House of Ideas, with the X-Men rightfully once again taking on a more prominent role in the comic book medium, thanks to a creative renaissance. Not surprisingly, this development has renewed hope for seeing all Marvel characters one day uniting on film.

Attempting to add fuel to the fire, a Twitter user named “Captain” has put together a poster showing what it’d be like if Avengers vs. X-Men were to ever become a reality. When you think about it, the fact that guys such as Wolverine and Beast have been affiliated with both teams in the comics makes this all the more interesting. Quicksilver has been able to lay claim to aligning with both on page and screen, too, but only Fox’s version of him is represented here.

Anyways, take a look at the poster below and let us know how much money you’d pay to see this become a reality.
