After waiting a long time, fans of the Marvel franchise X-Men yet a first look at the collected cast of X-Men First Class in costume. Matthew Vaughn’s reboot of the franchise has a fascinating cast including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence and Kevin Bacon among others. I think the characters look interesting, sort of a mash up between how Bryan Singer’s characters looked with the look of the characters in the comic. The film is set for release on June 3rd of this year. The plot synopsis is below:
Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-MEN.
