Sixty percent of the time, we get excited every time when a trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues releases. Hot on the heels of the new poster for the film, this full-length trailer showcases footage from the upcoming sequel and reminds us why there are few things better than these four actors getting together in their best ’70s suits.

The trailer is hilarious from start to finish and features a number of awesome one-liners. I won’t try to ruin any of them here, since my comedic timing is just nowhere near as good as any of the actors featured in this film, but I will say that fans of Ron Burgundy should be very excited for this December.

Unfortunately, not a whole lot is revealed about the plot in the trailer, at least aside from what we already knew. For those who aren’t up-to-date, the story involves the original gang of newscasters moving across the country to take on New York’s first 24-hour news channel.

That’s right, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) are all back and trying to keep it classy. The gang also includes Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), who now is not only Ron’s co-anchor, but his wife as well. Perhaps the most exciting return is that of Baxter, Ron’s loyal dog, who’s acting just as human as ever in this trailer.

In addition to the returning cast, the sequel adds Harrison Ford, Nicole Kidman, Dylan Baker, Kristen Wiig, John C. Reilly, James Marsden, Meagan Good, Josh Lawson, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Greg Kinnear to name a few. There’s also word of a hilarious Kanye West appearance. Basically everyone imaginable wanted to be a part of this movie, and watching this trailer, it’s no wonder why.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues hits theaters December 20, 2013.
