First Furious 7 Trailer Zooms Onto The Web

As promised, the very first trailer for James Wan's Furious 7 has landed on the web today. After a long, emotional shoot, we finally get to see some footage from the highly anticipated sequel and I must say, it looks pretty damn impressive, especially considering how difficult it must have been to put the film together, given the tragic death of star Paul Walker.

Furious 7 has a lot to live up to, seeing as the previous two instalments in the franchise were massive hits. Judging by the first footage though, I think that director James Wan is definitely going to please audiences with what he’s come up with. He seems to have had no trouble making the jump from horror, either, as the extended action sequence that the trailer opens up with looks absolutely exhilarating.

It’s not all about the action, though, as we are also given a brief overview of the plot and get a good idea of what kind of threat the gang is up against this time around. Jason Statham’s Ian Shaw appears to be a formidable opponent and his clash with our protagonists is sure to be just as explosive as we’ve come to expect from the series. I don’t know about you, but I, for one, cannot wait to see how it all plays out on the big screen.

Furious 7 will zoom into theatres on April 3rd, 2015 and stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Djimon Hounsou, Lucas Black, and John Brotherton.
