After giving us the impressive Sable back in 2017, director Michael Matteo Rossi is now gearing up for his next effort, Chase. Set to lens this summer, we’re learning today that the film has picked up Grimm star Damien Puckler, who’ll be joining an already solid cast which includes Jessica Morris, Aries Spears, Skye Townsend (Lucifer), Richard Riehle, and indie horror legend Devanny Pinn.

Said to be a hitman thriller, Chase – written by Rossi – will revolve around a young hitman who’s “torn between the loyalty he has for his mentor/best friend and his girlfriend and young son, whom he was responsible for orphaning.” Speaking about how he’d describe his new project, the director/writer stated the following:

“Chase really is a roller coaster of a ride. I feel there’s a lot of stinging emotion mixed with some action and a lot of unique kills from our lead hitman. It’ll definitely be a bloody journey for the characters involved that the audience will be invested in.”

As of yet, there’s been no release date set for the pic, but given that Rossi’s impressed with his past few feature films, we’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this one. And you can, too, via the official Facebook page.

With Chase inching closer to production, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as further updates become available. Until then, though, check out the new poster below and let us know in the comments section if you’ve got any interest in seeing this one once it hits theaters.
