A new poster for The Amazing Spider-Man was spotted at a bus shelter, according to Coming Soon. Featuring Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy, a view of New York City with the Oscorp building, similar to that from the previous posters, can be seen.

The eyes of the mask appear to be different from the ones in the trailer, they’re smaller, sleeker, and lack the yellow shade. This suggests that Peter Parker will don more than one version of his mask as the movie progresses, not unlike how Tony Stark wore two different versions of his Iron Man armor in The Avengers. The poster doesn’t disappoint as it keeps up with the previous ones and looks….well, amazing.

This new poster, while not officially released, is the latest in a bunch of promotional material that has been swinging out these past couple of weeks, including new clips and TV spots. There was even a small bit of news about a possible crossover between The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers (one can only hope).

Featuring The Lizard as the villain, the rebooted series will now also focus on the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Peter Parker’s parents as he gets through high school.

Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and Irrfan Khan. The movie opens on July 3, 2012 in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D.
