As for Jeremy Renner, the actor expressed the need to suit up in the wake of the mass genocide that concluded Infinity War, but it seems that he wasn’t referring to the same getup he sported in his previous cinematic outings. Rather, the guy who shoots arrows has a new look going for him, which Renner recently took to Instagram to show off once more.

In the photo’s caption, the star provided the following message:

“Day is done! It’s Friday … enjoy your weekend everyone”

His post wasn’t all peace and love, however, in that Renner also included the hashtag “#purplebadguy,” followed by the middle finger emoji. It seems that Clint’s wish for us to enjoy the weekend doesn’t extend to the Mad Titan, who spent his working hours eradicating half of all life from the universe.

While Hawkeye seemingly did a better job than his friend Scott Lang at adhering to the rules of house arrest after defying the Sokovia Accords in Captain America: Civil War, many have speculated that Clint will be getting back into the game under the alternate guise of Ronin. The popular theory is that the character’s retirement on his farm was interrupted by some or all of his family perishing as a result of Thanos’ snap. Apparently, not everyone can finally rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe once their work is done.

It sounds like Clint Barton’s story could have some pretty tragic turns lined up, but we’ll find out for sure when Avengers 4 comes out on May 3rd, 2019.
