Still gracing the screen worldwide as Hawkeye in the mega-blockbuster The Avengers, it’s easy to forget that Jeremy Renner has another potential blockbuster due out later this year with the spy thriller The Bourne Legacy.

Renner will be joined by Rachel Weisz, who thanks to Entertainment Weekly is the subject of a new image. It has not yet been revealed exactly how her character of Stephanie Snyder will tie into the story, though Weisz’s character is described as one of the film’s two main protagonists.

The look of fear and paranoia on the faces of Renner and Weisz pretty much says it all and it would be safe to assume (based on rumours) that the Snyder character is a civilian of sorts who gets tangled up in spy Aaron Cross’ troubles.

The first full trailer will debut along with this Friday’s Snow White and the Huntsman, leading up to its August 3rd release.

The Bourne Legacy is directed by Tony Gilroy and also stars Joan Allen (who returns from the original trilogy) and Edward Norton as the new villain.
