John Wick Shoots His Way Through Several New Stills And Promos

We're only a few weeks away now from the return of Keanu Reeves' badass hitman. Yes, we're referring to John Wick: Chapter 2, the upcoming sequel from Lionsgate which just might be the sleeper hit of the year. It may not be as big of a spectacle as say Justice League, or boast the budget of Jurassic World 2, but it will no doubt be able to hold its own against them and any other blockbuster released in 2017. That much we're sure of.

Why? Well, anyone who’s seen the original can tell you what a damn good time it was. Slick, stylized action, expertly choreographed combat and one of Reeves’ best performances in years ensured that John Wick was an action lover’s dream come true. It quickly earned itself a sequel and though co-director David Leitch has departed for Deadpool 2, we have every reason to believe that this follow-up will be just as good as what came before.

Joining Reeves for the ride this time around are a whole host of familiar and fresh faces, including Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Common and more. It’s a strong roster of talent that’s set to bring this balls-to-the-wall actioner to life, and with the film only a few weeks away now, Lionsgate continues to push full steam ahead with the marketing.

Today, we have two new promos and several hi-res stills to share with you. None of it is terribly revealing, and both spots are made up of mostly recycled footage, but it all serves as yet another reminder of what an explosive outing John Wick: Chapter 2 will be. It really is one of our most anticipated movies of 2017 and after viewing what Lionsgate pumped out today, it can’t get here soon enough.

Thankfully, there’s not too much longer to go now. Chad Stahelski’s sequel touches down on February 10th, where it’ll face competition from The LEGO Batman Movie and Fifty Shades Darker. Only one question remains: which film will you be checking out that weekend?
