It seems like it was only yesterday when Channing Tatum proved his comedic chops in the wildly successful 21 Jump Street. Sony’s reboot of the iconic television show was a huge success and a sequel was put into production shortly after the first film’s release. Now, 22 Jump Street is just around the corner and to set the marketing machine into motion and to whet our appetites, the studio has released several new stills.

Directed by in-demand duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the film is set to hit theatres on June 13th and will see Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum reprising their roles as police officers working for the Jump Street division. While the first film had the duo going undercover at a local high school, the sequel will move them up to the big leagues as they now have to infiltrate a fraternity crime ring that’s causing trouble at a nearby college.

Here’s the official plot synopsis:

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

22 Jump Street busts into theatres on June 13th. Check out the new images below and let us know if you’re excited for the film.
