Justice Begins With Diana In This Stunning Wonder Woman Banner

Amid allegations that Billy Crudup has pulled out of The Flash, not to mention those rumors claiming Justice League has been plagued by reshoots – rumors that were quickly debunked by Warner Bros. officials, mind you – the DC Extended Universe is currently plowing through a relatively taxing week. And it’s only Wednesday.

It’s not all doom and gloom, though; Robert Zemeckis, Sam Raimi and Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman: The Golden Circle) are reportedly in the mix to direct The Flash, and while those rumors of Crudup making for the exit door are a little disconcerting – for the record, he plays Barry Allen’s old man, Henry, and will make his debut via November’s Justice League – nothing has been made official just yet.

Leave it to Diana Prince, then, to pierce through the white noise with a new and suitably stunning Wonder Woman banner. Embedded below, the image comes bearing the rather evocative caption: “Justice begins with her.” And though Warner Bros. has been trying to embed the word “justice” into the zeitgeist ever since Batman V Superman loomed over theaters two years ago, the logline is rather fitting for Diana’s origin story. Equipped with God Killer and the all-powerful Lasso of Truth, Gal Gadot’s Immortal Warrior will spend much of Patty Jenkins’ standalone pic on the frontlines of The Great War, fighting Axis forces and Ares alongside Chris Pine’s pilot, Steve Trevor.

Wonder Woman lights up theaters on June 2nd. It’s a cinematic origin story 75 years in the making and with D-day closing in fast, Zack and Deborah Snyder have been busy entertaining the notion of a sequel – even if Joss Whedon’s Batgirl spinoff is still considered a priority for Warner Bros. brass.
