This time, though, we’re getting a chance to see how moviegoers around the globe are getting hyped for this monumental release via a new round of international posters. But what’s special about these particular ones is that they return the gang to their comic book roots – albeit with a bit of a twist.

You see, each of these beautiful pieces put somewhat of a manga-like spin on the likes of Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash, Cyborg and even Superman, the latter of whom is often missing from promotional material in order to help play up the mystique surrounding his death and resurrection. Truth be told, not only are these watercolors making us excited for the motion picture that’s being rolled out in a matter of days, but also the Batman Ninja anime that’s expected to arrive sometime in 2018. Hey, you have to admit that it’s easy for the mind to draw such parallels.

Although it’s a bit more subtle, one can’t deny the power these images have when you consider that they’re bereft of color aside from each respective hero’s logo. Really, it’s a simple but effective technique that allows each piece to pop – and to perhaps distract us from the Man of Steel looking like he’s about to bust a move.

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17.
