Latest Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Gets Animated Reimagining

Unless you’ve been under a total media blackout, you should indefensibly be aware that the final trailer for the Russo brothers Avengers: Infinity War arrived last Friday and has amassed nearly forty million views on Marvel’s YouTube channel. Epic, to say the least, the roughly one-hundred-and-forty-second look at next month’s hugely anticipated sequel to Age of Ultron has enthusiasts all hot and bothered.

While the film’s marketing campaign, not that it needed one, has done a bang-up job preventing even the slightest plot point from slipping, the spirits of those smitten with the MCU haven’t been dampened in the slightest. Despite having been dissected and analyzed beyond all recognition, people are still hungry for more and thanks to some talented fans, we’ve now got just that.

An animated version of the latest Infinity War trailer has been posted to YouTube this week and it’s every bit as magical as you can imagine. Check it out below:

Dubbed with the official trailer’s audio track, the parody uses footage from several of Marvel’s animated series, including Avengers Assemble, The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and Wolverine and the X-Men. The homage is but a small way fans have been showcasing their appreciation for what’s been a ten-year-long nostalgia trip for some, and a new experience for others.

With roughly six weeks to go before Avengers: Infinity War hits theatres and absolutely demolishes box office projections and records, there’s still plenty of time to rewatch every entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe like a sane person, instead of subjecting one’s body to an all-day marathon at specific AMC locations. Then again, it’s probably a foregone conclusion that those near participating theatres will unhesitatingly choose the latter.
