Spidey And Doctor Strange Team Up In Leaked Avengers: Infinity War Photo

With Avengers: Infinity War now having wrapped production, it's about time we got our first look at the film, isn't it? True, those lucky individuals who were at D23 last weekend got what was apparently a beyond epic trailer, but us normal folk still haven't seen anything at all. That's about to change very, very soon, though. No, not today. But this weekend when Marvel storms Comic-Con, you can bet that they'll bring the goods.

Until then, though, we’ve got the next best thing. What’s that you ask? Well, how about a leaked photo featuring none other than everyone’s favorite new superhero duo, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man? Is that something you might be interested in? Of course it is!

Seen below is a leaked photo that’s been making the rounds today on various forums and social media websites. It’s blurry and hardly the best quality, but both the Sorcerer Supreme and Spidey can be seen in the bottom right, with the former telling the young hero, “Protect them. They’re not dead.” As for the other shots we see, well, it’s hard to make out who they may feature, but a lot of people think Scarlet Witch is the one lying in the rubble.

While some may be skeptical of the authenticity of this image, it’s most likely real. Why? Well, because, if you look closely you can see the name Jesse Olivares on the monitor, who’s a key video assistant engineer on the film, and has worked on several other Marvel projects, too. It’s doubtful that he was the one who leaked this image, but it does seem like it’s genuine. And if it’s not, then someone went to a lot of trouble to make it look that way.

In related news, we recently caught wind of the “great chemistry” between Tom Holland and Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange – even if the latter completely overlooked the young up-and-comer at first glance – along with the moment in which Drax the Destroyer crosses paths with Iron Man. Dave Bautista’s character is known for being stupidly literal, so we can only imagine the hilarity that will ensue once his Drax is introduced to the unapologetically sarcastic Tony Stark.

Avengers: Infinity War has been scheduled for release on May 4th, 2018. There’s plenty to look forward to between now and then as well, what with both Thor: Ragnarok and Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther cramming up the pipeline, the latter of which has been compared to an “operatic family drama.”

Suffice it to say, it’s a good time to be a Marvel fan.
