Leaked X-Men: Apocalypse Pic Offers A Great New Look At The Titular Villain

The first official images of Oscar Isaac as En Sabah Nur from Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse did not go down too well with a lot of fans, many of whom took issue with the everything from his purple tinted hue, to his slightly too human looking features, to... well, the fact that he did kind of resemble Ivan Ooze from the Power Rangers.

The first official images of Oscar Isaac as En Sabah Nur from Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse did not go down too well with a lot of fans, many of whom took issue with the everything from his purple tinted hue, to his slightly too human looking features, to… well, the fact that he did kind of resemble Ivan Ooze from the Power Rangers.

Well, either that SDCC footage and those early stills were not a very good representation of Apocalypse’ appearance in the final film, or Fox and Singer have taken the negative reactions on board and made a few changes – because the leaked image above that hit the web today is a much better interpretation of the Marvel Comics character, and just a lot cooler looking in general.

Of course, it’s still hard to tell how exactly the titular villain will look on the big screen, and we likely won’t be able to make an accurate judgement until the first trailer hits. As of now though, we’re definitely on board.

X-Men: Apocalypse also stars Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, with newcomers Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy and Olivia Munn. The movie is set to be released on May 27th, 2016.
