Lucky McKee‘s much talked about Sundance Film Festival entry The Woman is readying for it’s theatrical run and the trailer has now landed online, giving fans a better glimpse of what drove people to walk out during festival screenings.

Scottish actress Pollyanna McIntosh stars as the titular character who is the last member of a lost tribe of feral hunters. Popular character actor Sean Bridgers plays a successful lawyer and family man who decides to hunt down this strange woman and break her. Angela Bettis, star of Lucky McKee‘s 2002 masterpiece May, plays Bridgers’ wife and newcomers Zach Rand and Lauren Ashley Carter round out the family.

The Woman is stirring up quite a bit of controversy and is definitely not for the faint of heart. If you think you can handle it though, check out the trailer below.
