Of course, just as with any other major Hollywood blockbuster, the film had an extravagant LA premiere earlier this week and Disney spared no expense. From Stormtroopers to Praetorian Guards and even those loveable droids, numerous characters from The Last Jedi were in attendance as were most of the main cast and a ton of special guests. It truly was an evening to remember and now you can dive right into it all thanks to the photo gallery down below.

Don’t expect to pick out any story clues or find the answer to some of your burning questions with what we have here, but these pics provide a fun glimpse into the red carpet premiere of what’s undoubtedly the year’s biggest release, and only have us that much more excited to finally see it.

Championed as a jaw-dropping and spectacular continuation of the Star Wars saga, The Last Jedi is prepped and ready for launch. Expect Rian Johnson’s celebrity-filled sequel to begin its rollout overseas today, before lighting up the domestic box office on December 15th.

Though the project may have shouldered a great burden throughout its storied production – the tragic death of Carrie Fisher, the inevitable comparisons to Empire…you name it – it looks as though Lucasfilm has pulled off the impossible. And in light of those glowing reviews, we can confidently say that it fully deserves a massive opening weekend.
