To be perfectly honest, I’m still not exactly sure how I feel about Transformers: Age of Extinction, the fourth entry in Michael Bay’s big, loud and over-the-top franchise. On the one hand, I’ve found myself entertained by each film in the series so far. In fact, I’m not ashamed to admit that I walked out of the movie theatre with a huge grin after watching Bay absolutely level Chicago at the end of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. On the other hand, this fourth entry really does look like more of the same and I’m just not sure if we need another Transformers movie.
Fortunately, not everyone feels the same way, and in an effort to continue building excitement for what will surely be a box-office destroyer, Paramount has released three new stills from the film. They show, for the most part, Mark Wahlberg looking all rough and tough, proving to us that he’ll be a suitable replacement for Mr. LaBeouf. We also get a glimpse of the beautiful Nicola Peltz, who will co-star with Wahlberg as his daughter.
Also featuring Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, T.J. Miller, Titus Welliver, Han Geng, Sophia Myles, and Li Bingbing, Transformers: Age of Extinction will roll into theatres on June 27th. Check out the new images below and let us know what you think.
