Marvel Releases 10 Year Anniversary Featurette Ahead Of Avengers: Infinity War

Even though we finally received one sweet TV spot for Avengers: Infinity War during the Super Bowl a few days ago, it stands to reason that each and every one of us are dying to see more teasers before the big team-up flick storms cinemas. Of course, we’re likely to see another full trailer or two before opening weekend arrives – with a litany of TV spots orbiting that – but any new form of material is more than appreciated.

Even though we finally received one sweet TV spot for Avengers: Infinity War during the Super Bowl a few days ago, it stands to reason that each and every one of us are dying to see more teasers before the big team-up flick storms cinemas. Naturally, Infinity War already has the built-in appeal that accompanies any superhero team-up movie, but what likely helped in making this one of the most anticipated films of 2018 is that it’s the culmination of everything Kevin Feige and company have built since the first Iron Man debuted back in 2008. That’s right, it’s been a ten-year journey, and that’s but one thing that makes this experience so special.

Realizing this, Marvel has put together a brief featurette (seen at the top) that encapsulates the importance of what’s going on. Really, to see all of these top shelf actors in one place really puts the level of talent the brand has attracted into perspective. Needless to say, I have to agree with Chris Hemsworth’s statement that it looks like the crowd that’d assemble for the Academy Awards.

Understandably enough, some True Believers are already beginning their MCU recap marathons in advance of Thanos’ arrival on Earth, even if that means watching only one installment per week. And if you haven’t begun doing so, then perhaps this bad boy is the final nudge you need.

Avengers: Infinity War arrives in theaters on May 4th, while its currently untitled sequel, Avengers 4, will follow one year later, on May 3rd, 2019.
