For this outing, I head to the theatre to check out Paramount’s new sequel, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which our very own Matt Donato reviewed earlier this week and seemed to enjoy, stating the following:

It may be messy, but the parts that matter go for broke with breakneck ambition. Plus, it’s the only sequel ballsy enough to make a direct joke at Marvel’s expense.

Return of Xander Cage sees Vin Diesel reprise the lead role in a sequel that’s bigger and more explosive than the last two films in the series in every way imaginable. It’s more a real life action cartoon than anything else, but it goes all-out in just about every sense of the word. Story and character development may not reign king here, but the latest xXx film is an undoubtedly thrilling adventure that should easily satisfy those looking for an adrenaline fix.

What will audiences think of the action-packed ride, though? You’ll just have to check out the video above to find out! Be sure to give it a watch and remember to catch xXx: Return of Xander Cage as it’s now playing in theatres everywhere. Also, for my full thoughts on the film, head on over to my channel.
