New Wonder Woman Trailer Could Be With Us Next Week

So, Logan's now playing in theatres and despite previous reports, it didn't arrive with the next Wonder Woman trailer. Instead, we got a promo for Deadpool 2 - which you can check out here. Depending on who you ask, that's just as exciting, but DC fans are still left wondering when they can see more of Gal Gadot in action. Well, it seems that the wait won't be too much longer now, as the next preview for Patty Jenkins' film could be here as soon as next week.

That’s according to Alberta Film Ratings, who say that the upcoming trailer has already been classified and is set to head into theaters shortly. An exact date isn’t given, but with Warner Bros. unleashing Kong: Skull Island on Friday, it’s a pretty safe bet that that’s where the footage, which is said to be about two-and-a-half-minutes long, will appear. Presumably, the studio will drop it online the day before, so be sure to stay tuned as we’ll have it for you as soon as it’s available.

There’s quite a bit of hype surrounding this next trailer, and understandably so. Given the troubles that the DC Extended Universe has been having, including all the commotion surrounding The Batman – which finally seems to be back on track, thankfully – Warner Bros. could really use a win, and Wonder Woman is their first chance to turn the tide.

Early reports have been calling it “good, if not great,” but fans are still eager for another look at the flick. After all, test screenings don’t always mean very much. Remember, both Suicide Squad and Batman V Superman scored very high with test audiences as well and ultimately got torn apart by critics, and most viewers. Still, there’s no reason to doubt Wonder Woman just yet, as what we’ve seen so far does look pretty promising and you have to imagine that after two misfires, the studio has learned from its mistakes. At least, we hope they have.

Either way, all will be revealed very soon, as Wonder Woman will charge into theaters on June 2nd.
