Official Trailer For X-Men: First Class

Well, it's finally here. The first official trailer for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class. Featuring a solid cast that includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence, Rose Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, Zoë Kravitz, Jason Flemyng, Lucas Till and Edi Gathegi, the film will act as a prequel. It will “chart the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events.” I wasn't sure what to think of the film up until now but after seeing the trailer, I'm sold. The film looks great and I think it's going to impress most people.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. I don’t know about you but this just became one of my most anticipated films. I’m really liking the whole Cold War/Cuban Missle Crisis setting and I think we’re in for a real treat with this one. The trailer itself is also awesome, teasing just enough to leave audiences wanting more. McAvoy and Fassbender look like they’re going to kill it in their roles and this is going to be one hell of a film. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go watch this trailer, again. Enjoy the official plot summary and trailer!

First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
