We’ve been seeing the unmistakable logos for both the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) and the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) everywhere on promotional material for Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and now we can add Wonder Woman’s (Gal Gadot) official symbol to the mix.
Hot on the heels of the first image and the additional cast details from the solo Wonder Woman movie, we now have the above logo, which was spotted by ComicBook.com.
It’s actually been floating around online since it was unveiled along with several other bits of promo art last month at New York Comic-Con, but has only now been given any coverage. It’s pretty surprising that it went so long without being noticed, too, as this does mark our first glimpse of the symbol that’s been assigned to Princess Diana in the DCEU.
[zergpaid]As you can see above, the logo closely resembles the classic Wonder Woman emblem, but has obviously been given an overhaul to look a lot grittier for the purposes of the character’s big-screen debut next year. It’s nothing too spectacular, but it gets the job done and should please fans of the character.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Holly Hunter as Senator Finch. The movie opens on March 25th, 2016.
