Orlando Bloom Getting Paid $1 Million For The Hobbit?

According to Heat World, Orlando Bloom is being paid $1 million dollars, yes, ONE MILLION DOLLARS, for a two-minute part in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit. I’m not the kind of person to bitch about stars making too much money considering the amount of work and the way some movies seem to clear the $500 million with ease, but I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Granted if I was receiving the $1 million I’d tell all of you who are whining where to stick it so I guess I should take my own advice. Seems like Peter Jackson is doing everything he possibly can to make this movie hit which is a good thing because his last few movies haven’t been able to compete with The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
