Both Moviefone and Huffington Post have revealed two new character posters for Identity Thief, an upcoming comedy from Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon.

In the film, out February 8th, 2013, Melissa McCarthy stars as Diana, a woman living life to the full on the outskirts of Miami. She’s a power shopper, spending the readies on anything and everything that takes her fancy.

There’s just one small problem – the identity she’s using to bankroll her lavish lifestyle isn’t hers. It belongs to one Sandy Bigelow Patterson, an accounts rep (Jason Bateman) who lives elsewhere in the US.

When he discovers what has happened, Sandy begins a quest from Denver to Florida to hunt Diana down and get his good name back before she spends every last cent and destroys his credit rating forever. He’s got a week to try and he’ll soon learn that it’s not going to be as easy as he might have thought.

With the success McCarthy had in Bridesmaids last year, her success at the box office could continue with this film when it’s released. Let’s not forgot she also has a cameo in The Hangover Part III.

And then there’s the fact that Bateman is teaming up again with his Horrible Bosses director. The two worked very well together and turned the aforementioned film into a fairly big hit, so seeing them reunite is definitely a good thing.

Identity Thief‘s first trailer is set to arrive tomorrow, so keep an eye on We Got This Covered for that as we’ll post it once it’s available.

Jon Favreau, Amanda Peet, Genesis Rodriguez, Morris Chestnut, John Cho and Eric Stonestreet also star in Identity Thief.

Check out the posters below.
