The cast for War Machine, Netflix’s next foray into original films, is starting to take shape. The Brad Pitt-starring pic already snagged Scoot McNairy last week, and this week, it’s found two more supporting actors in Will Poulter and Anthony Michael Hall.

The film will be directed by Animal Kingdom helmer David Michôd and is based on the bestselling book The Operators: The Wild And Terrifying Inside Story Of America’s War In Afghanistan by the late journalist Michael Hastings.

For those unfamiliar with the source material, it focused on a four star, “rock star” general whose lethal reputation and impeccable track record vaults him to command the American war in Afghanistan. Pitt is set to play the general, and Hall is locked in for the part of his second in command. As for Poulter, there’s no word yet on who he’ll play, but expect an update soon.

Aside from the aforementioned names, War Machine also boasts Topher Grace, Emory Cohen and John Magaro in its cast. The film will hit theatres next year as well as stream on Netflix.
