It’s one of the key story trinkets that, thankfully, remains cloaked in secrecy ahead of the film’s August release, but that hasn’t prevented producers Richard Suckle and Andy Horowitz from weighing in on the villain amongst the villains.
We are, of course, referring to Suicide Squad‘s big bad, which is a topic that has been kept under lock and key as Warner Bros. directs attention to Task Force X and all of their wicked glory. But just as director David Ayer championed the complex, multi-faceted nature of his anti-heroes, Suckle and Horowitz have offered up new, spoiler-ish details on that main villain in question.

[zerg]Make no mistake, though Warner Bros. has remained mum about the identity of Suicide Squad‘s nemesis, come August 5, all will be revealed. Here, Suckle tells ComicBook.com, “Oh, you will find out who the Adversary is, that is for sure. You will find out not only who the Adversary is but why they exist, who is part and parcel and who is behind them. You definitely find that out in this movie for sure.”
Featuring a who’s who of Hollywood talent that covers Will Smith, Joel Kinnaman, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Viola Davis and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is expected to land in theaters on August 5.
