Press screenings for X-Men: Days of Future Past took place this week in preparation for the upcoming junket, and now, the first reactions have emerged via Twitter, as they always do. As you’ll see below, there seems to be unanimous praise for the film, with every single Tweet exclaiming how incredible and amazing it is.

While I wasn’t expecting X-Men: Days of Future Past to bomb or anything, I really didn’t think that it would turn out as well as it apparently did. Don’t get me wrong, the film looks great, and I’m extremely excited for it, but I was always a bit skeptical of how Singer would handle the multiple timelines and the enormous group of mutants that he was dealing with. Things easily could have become messy and muddled and that was always a concern of mine.

It looks like that’s not the case though, and I think that we can all rest easy knowing that everything came together and that we’re in store for one hell of a ride come May 23rd.

I also want to point out that, if you recall, a lot of people were skeptical of X-Men: First Class before it released, and that film ended up blowing people away. So, I guess the lesson here is to never doubt the mutants, right?

X-Men Days of Future Past stars Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, and opens May 23.

Check out the reactions below and get excited, folks!
