Variety is reporting that Rebecca Hall has taken the role of Maya Hansen, a scientist who works alongside Aldrich Killian, the character being played by Guy Pearce.
I think Hall is a great fit for the part, I love everything I have seen her in, especially The Town and The Prestige. Joining the next Marvel film should giver her career a boost that will be well deserved.
The film, which is being helmed by Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang director Shane Black, will begin production later this month.
Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr., Ben Kingsley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rebecca Hall, Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce, and will be released on May 3, 2013.
