Following that awesome banner featuring Finn (John Boyega) brandishing a lightsaber, we’ve come across two more promo images for J.J Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. One spotlight’s Finn’s fellow young protagonist, Rey (Daisy Ridley), and the other gives us a look at enigmatic villain, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

It’s fitting that these banners were released together, because the prevailing theory surrounding Rey and Kylo is that they’re actually bother and sister – children of either Luke Skywalker or Han Solo. It’s also been speculated that Rey’s staff is a lot more lethal that it looks, and the Jakku scavenger is concealing a double-bladed lightsaber of her own.

All of that remains to be seen of course, but given everything we’ve heard up to this point, it’ll be surprising if there isn’t at least some kind of connection between these characters.

Also starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker,  Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.
