Rumored Avengers 4 Footage Description Tees Up A Marvel Journey For The Ages

Over on Reddit, one curious Marvel fan has relayed what he/she claims to be a detailed breakdown of the Avengers 4 footage that screened at CineEurope earlier today.

Though we’ve yet to see any footage with our own two eyes, Marvel’s CineEurope showcase has brought forth a slew of intel pertaining to Avengers 4.

Chief among them is the rumor that Joe and Anthony Russo’s 2019 epic will follow in the footsteps of Infinity War and move its worldwide release date to April, thereby mitigating the chance of spoilers. There is, however, a good chance CineEurope’s listing was actually referring to the sequel’s international debut, and its U.S. release date remains locked at May 3rd.

Be that as it may, over on Reddit, one curious Marvel fan has relayed what he/she claims to be a detailed breakdown of the Avengers 4 footage that screened at CineEurope earlier today. File this one in the rumor cabinet for now, as Marvel Studios has been keeping a pretty tight lid on its future MCU offerings thus far – Captain Marvel included – but it does align with previous rumors that have been ricocheting off the walls of the Internet…

So a friend of mine actually got to attend the Disney presentation at CineEurope and he just got his phone and was able to tell me a lot. So the Captain Marvel stuff was mostly just bts nothing to big for that one. The Avengers 4 footage showed Ant-Man talking with Tony Stark about a new piece of technology that will allow them to go to multiple realities and collect the infinity stones. No word on the title yet. Please spread the word on this description so others may see it.

As this theory so rightly points out, if there’s one Avenger who knows a thing or two about the Quantum Realm, it’s Ant-Man, and leaked set photos have alluded to the moment when Scott Lang and Tony Stark, along with a pool of Phase One Avengers, travel back to the Battle of New York.

So perhaps this all falls under their quest to collect the Infinity Stones before Thanos can get his large, grubby hands on them? It’s certainly possible, but again, after the Russo Brothers filmed fake scenes and trailer misdirects for Infinity War, it’s best to stay skeptical at this early, early stage.

All we know for sure is that Avengers 4 has been locked in for a release on May 3rd, 2019.
