The never ending story of actors disappearing from Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained continues today as ThePlaylist reports that RZA will not appear in the film.

Apparently, the actor/director got caught in the editing room on his upcoming film The Man With The Iron Fists. While he wouldn’t give a name as to who his part went to, RZA did say that “I gave my role up to a buddy. Can you believe that?”

Though Django Unchained has lost a good handful of its cast over the course of production, due to various reasons, it still boasts names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson, among others. Plus, it’s a Tarantino film, which is the only thing I need to know to get me into theatres.

As for RZA, it’s a shame to see him go but The Man With The Iron Fists looks pretty awesome, so I’m happy that he’s giving his full time and attention to that project.

Django Unchained opens on December 25th, 2012 and The Man With The Iron Fists will arrive on November 2nd, 2012.
