Scarlet Witch And Vision Feature In New Avengers: Infinity War Deleted Scene

To date, the romance involving Vision and the Scarlet Witch had mostly been reserved for comic books, but Captain America: Civil War hinted at the two possibly being more than just colleagues. And once Infinity War rolled around, it became apparent that they took the next step in their relationship.

To be honest, I’d wished this dynamic would’ve been explored in greater detail because Joe and Anthony Russo skipped from points A to C in a sense, but I guess time is limited when so many other characters are included in a particular film. Still, it’s cool to be able to take in this next deleted scene.

As you can see in the clip found above (click the link if the media doesn’t appear for you), Wanda and her android lover are about to be confronted by some of Thanos’ lackeys, as the tapping of staffs makes for a portentous sound. Hey, you have to admit this is much more intimidating than if, say, the villains were to employ the rhythmic snapping of gangs found in West Side Story.

Right now, it remains unclear of how much more we’ll see of the Wanda-Vision pairing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but at least we got something. On the plus side, none of the filmmakers decided to instead flesh out her incestuous relationship with Quicksilver that was native to the Ultimate comics, so we were all able to hold onto the contents of our stomachs.

For more stuff like this, be sure to pick up Avengers: Infinity War when it arrives on Blu-ray on August 14th. Or, you could click here for a chance to win a copy.
