The Shaggin’ Wagon Returns In Dumb And Dumber To Poster

I am not certain whether to be excited or nervous about the return of Dumb and Dumber characters Harold and Lloyd, about twenty years after their first appearance on the big screen. On the one hand, it's certain to be fun to see Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels together again after all this time. On the other hand, there's no doubt that Dumb and Dumber To is going to be...pretty dumb.

I am not certain whether to be excited or nervous about the return of Dumb and Dumber characters Harold and Lloyd, about twenty years after their first appearance on the big screen. On the one hand, it’s certain to be fun to see Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels together again after all this time. On the other hand, there’s no doubt that Dumb and Dumber To is going to be…pretty dumb.

If we were concerned that Dumb and Dumber To would be any smarter than its predecessor, I think that the recently released poster for the film has put that to rest. Front and center are our two heroes, riding around in the so-called Shaggin’ Wagon which, if you remember, is basically a gigantic stuffed dog on wheels. That’s pretty much all we’re getting for this first poster, but it does strike a tone perfectly in keeping with what we expect from a movie called Dumb and Dumber To.

The plot of Dumb and Dumber To involves Harry and Lloyd heading off on the road in search of a long-lost child who can provide a kidney transplant. There’s a good chance that the transplant probably is not needed and that it is all a mistake, but of course, Harry and Lloyd are pretty dumb. Whether this will be nothing more than a piece of nostalgia for those of us who recall the first film, or an enjoyable comedy in its own right, has yet to be seen. We will all have to decide if we can give Harry and Lloyd the benefit of the doubt.

Dumb and Dumber To will premiere on November 14. Check out the new poster below and let us know what you think.
