Is Snoke About To Call Upon Ancient Sith Powers In Star Wars: The Last Jedi?

Star Wars News Net has compiled a report that claims to have unveiled Snoke's secret weapon in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, along with some dialogue for Kylo.

As things stand, and with only one official Star Wars: The Last Jedi teaser to pour over, Supreme Leader Snoke is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, nestled in some unexplored corner of Lucasfilm’s galaxy far, far away.

Introduced as a towering hologram in 2015’s The Force Awakens, it’s understood Andy Serkis’ disfigured alien will feature more prominently come December – just don’t expect Rian Johnson’s space sequel to divulge all of the answers regarding Snoke’s origins and, crucially, his ultimate masterplan, the details of which have been locked away in Lucasfilm’s top-secret vaults.

And truth be told, the studio is unlikely to reveal any firm information until The Last Jedi touches down in theaters, but the rumor mill continues unabated. Star Wars News Net has the latest report. Citing Reddit as a source – always a dubious move when it comes to online movie speculation, but nevertheless – the outlet claims Supreme Leader Snoke will be able to call upon ancient Sith powers come December. It’s another story rumor gleaned from The Last Jedi‘s merchandise line, which is set to occupy store shelves and help ring in Force Friday on September 1st, so whether there’s actually any truth to this remains to be seen.

However that may be, online sleuths believe the circular object featured below is actually a Sith cauldron, and will allow Snoke to spy on Luke (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) from afar – presumably on the deck of that rumored Mega Star Destroyer. Check it out below and see what you think.

Elsewhere, there’s also some new intel on the ‘Star Wars Force Link Band,’ a wearable piece of merch that plays sounds and “real movie dialog.” And thanks to one eagle-eyed Twitter user, we’ve included some of those alleged sound bites down below.

Aside from some standard villain speak (“crush the intruders!”), there are extracts that lend weight to those rumors claiming Rey will be forced to depart Ahco-To in order to save Finn and Poe from the clutches of the First Order.

“Crew member trapped! Send in the rescue team!”
“Crush the intruders.”
“The prisoner is ready for your interrogation.”
“You’re going to the cells!”

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be with us on December 15th of this year. Beyond that, and after Ron Howard recounts the origins of Han Solo (May 25th, 2018), the greatest smuggler in the galaxy, Disney and Lucasfilm will begin directing our attention to Colin Trevorrow’s conclusive (and untitled) Episode IX ahead of its launch in 2019. There’s also word of an Obi-Wan Kenobi anthology film, which currently has Stephen Daldry in its sights as a potential director. Stay tuned for more on that front.
