Spidey Becomes An Avenger In Brand New Infinity War TV Spots

Two, brand new TV spots for Avengers: Infinity War have surfaced this weekend and they contain quite a bit of new footage.

Avengers: Infinity War is on the verge of becoming the “biggest movie of all time.” Or so says Chris Pratt.

The Star-Lord actor took to Instagram earlier this week to honor Empire’s recent coverage of the Marvel event movie – there are seven covers in total, with one particularly striking subscriber-only spread being dedicated to Thanos – while also taking a moment to reflect on what he considers to be the opportunity of a lifetime.

Because even after two movies featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy, Infinity War is undoubtedly Chris Pratt’s biggest Marvel gig to date. And it’ll be followed in quick succession by the super-secret Avengers 4 in 2019. But before we get to that, we’ve now got two, brand new TV spots for the film, which debuted during the 2018 Halo World Championship, of all places.

Surprisingly enough (given that we just got what was apparently the final trailer last week), they both contain some never before seen footage, with one of the promos giving us a glimpse of Black Widow and Falcon in Wakanda and Vision consoling Scarlet Witch, while the other has a pretty funny moment that sees Tony Stark officially making Peter Parker an Avenger.

Among all that, there’s a few other brief glimpses of new footage as well (like Doctor Strange being tortured), and though both are quite short, these TV spots serve as yet another reminder that next month, we’re in for one hell of a treat. Then again, it’s not like we didn’t know that already.

Expect Avengers: Infinity War to send the MCU and its impassioned fanbase into a tizzy on April 27th, by which point we should have a better understanding of how the Russo Brothers plan to set the stage for the so-far untitled Avengers 4, a sequel that is still, somehow, a complete and utter mystery.
