Last week, for instance, we caught a glimpse of BB-9, the First Order droid that’s essentially the evil doppelgänger to BB-8, replete with black matte plating and various other bells and whistles, along with possible intel on Supreme Leader Snoke and his Mega Star Destroyer. The subject of today’s story doesn’t necessarily reveal much about the plot of the sequel, but it might just give us a glimpse at something quite exciting.

Seen below is a picture of a new puzzle set to be released for The Last Jedi. Once assembled, it kinda looks like something the studio could use on a poster, wouldn’t you say? There’s nothing to confirm that this is indeed what will happen, but it wouldn’t be at all surprising if what Disney eventually releases is either identical, or at the very least, quite similar to what we see here. Even if it’s not, though, this puzzle still forms a very cool image once put together and we’re confident that whatever the studio ends up going with for their official marketing material, it’ll be just as impressive.

After all, the Star Wars franchise has produced some of the most beautiful movie posters of all-time ever since A New Hope landed back in 1977, and The Last Jedi has proven to be no exception – at least going by that red-tinted teaser poster we got a while back. If what’s pictured below is indeed the next one-sheet that Disney plans to release, then it would seem that the marketing team hasn’t lost their touch, as it really is rather exciting.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi lights up theaters on December 15th and is one of three major Star Wars projects in active development – the other two being Lucasfilm’s Han Solo origin story and the so-far untitled Episode IX. An Obi-Wan Kenobi spinoff is also on the cards (finally!), though given it’s still in search of a writer and script, it’ll be sometime yet before Stewjon’s wise old Jedi Master returns to the fray.
