Now that Avengers: Infinity War has uprooted from the Scottish capital of Edinburgh – temporarily placing the Vision and Scarlet Witch’s impassioned love affair on hold in the process – Joe and Anthony Russo’s 2018 event film has set up shop inĀ Durham, England.
How do we know? Because MCU Exchange (via CBM) has uncovered a fresh batch of set photos, which find the production crew preparing for interior scenes within Durham Cathedral. There’s a particular focus on Tessa Thompson, Mark Ruffalo, and Chris Hemsworth – the three key players of Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok – and down below you’ll catch a glimpse of the former arriving on set. Durham is expected to play host to Infinity War over the next two-to-three days, so don’t be too surprised if (when?) a supplementary load of set pics emerges onto the interwebs.
Until that time, you’ll be able to have a gander at Thompson and her Thor: Ragnarok co-stars, below, with a tip of the hat to various Twitter users.

Tessa Thompson, who impressed in Ryan Coogler’s Rocky spinoff Creed, is attached to the part of Valkyrie, a hardened warrior aboard the planetĀ Sakaar. Her knowledge of both the gladiatorial arena and Jeff Goldblum’s wise old Grandmaster will prove indispensable to Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder. He’s the immigrant of Ragnarok, essentially, and after witnessing Hela (Cate Blanchett) crushĀ Mjƶlnir into a thousand pieces with her bare hands, Thor is ready to fight tooth and nail to return to Asgard and save it from total annihilation.
Avengers: Infinity War, meanwhile, will seemingly take comic book movies to a whole new level on May 4th, 2018. As for Thor: Ragnarok, expect Thompson to buddy up with Hemsworth, Ruffalo and the rest of the gang on November 3rd of this year.
