From Pine to Pratt, Evans to Hemsworth, the meme itself has resulted in a sort of healthy competition between each actor, and that’s something that was presented to Thor: Ragnarok‘s Chris Hemsworth during San Diego Comic-Con. After dancing around the length of Thor’s tenure within the ever-evolving Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hemsworth crowned Wonder Woman to be his favorite film of 2017…so far.

He’s not the only one to shower praise on the Diana Prince origin story, which has now cemented its place at the tip-top of the year’s domestic box office chart, easily surpassing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. A sequel is on the way, too, and will be with us in December of 2019, long after Gal Gadot’s Immortal Warrior has joined forces with her fellow heroes in Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon’s Justice League movie.

Circling back to Marvel’s God of Thunder, though, he’ll next be seen going toe-to-toe with Hela (Cate Blanchett) in the name of Asgard, forming a team of unlikely heroes that includes the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and the other son of Odin, Loki. Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief is usually up to no good, but it seems as though Taika Waititi’s upcoming threequel will have the two siblings fighting out of the same corner. And for that reason alone, Ragnarok will be worth the price of admission.

Per MTV:

“I have such love and admiration for all Chris’ on the planet and all superheroes, including Wonder Woman,” Hemworth joked after being asked if 2017 belongs to Chris Pine. “I think that’s my favourite film this year. It’s incredible. They did such a good job.”

Thor: Ragnarok lights up theaters on November 3rd, and at around 100 minutes in length, it’s shaping up to be the shortest entry into the MCU thus far.
