Thor Takes On Vision In New Avengers: Age Of Ultron Deleted Scene

Yet another Marvel movie deleted scene from the collector’s edition Phase 2 Box Set has been released, and this time we get to see the full version of the Vision’s (Paul Bettany) “birth” and subsequent battle with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes from Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

The original theatrical version of this scene played out much the same, but the combatants only exchanged a few blows before the fighting subsided and things were sorted out amicably. Here though, the team really goes for it, with the Mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in particular stepping up to give the android all he can handle.

You could argue that the scene doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, given Thor obviously got word from those water spirits (ugh) that bringing life to Vision using the power of Mjölnir was the right thing to do – before proceeding to punch him in the face. But hey, it makes for an exciting action scene, so we won’t nitpick it too much.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron is now available on DVD and Blu-ray, and for more Marvel goodness, you can pre-order the Phase 2 Box Set on Amazon.
