Well, it’s finally here. After a quick sneak peek earlier this week, we finally get the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all return for the next instalment in the beloved series. This time though, there is a heavier focus on the romance between Edward and Bella (Pattinson and Stewart).
At this point, the series really needs to introduction. You already know if you’re going to see it or not. It’s not like this trailer is going to change your mind about the series if you were previously opposed to it. At this stage, you’re either a Twilight fan of you’re not, simple as that.
Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg has already stated that most of the novel’s more graphic moments won’t be appearing in the film, so don’t go in expecting to see everything you read about. Aside from that though, it really just looks like more of the same old Twilight that fans have come to know and love.
We get a couple shots of the wedding as well as a peek at Bella discovering her pregnancy. There’s a bit of Cullen/Volturi stuff here as well and of course, the obligatory shots of Jacob without his shirt.
Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments.
In the highly anticipated next chapter of the blockbuster The Twilight Saga, the newfound married bliss of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is cut short when a series of betrayals and misfortunes threatens to destroy their world.
After their wedding, Bella and Edward travel to Rio de Janeiro for their honeymoon, where they finally give in to their passions. Bella soon discovers she is pregnant, and during a nearly fatal childbirth, Edward finally fulfills her wish to become immortal.
But the arrival of their remarkable daughter, Renesmee, sets in motion a perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the fearsome council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle.
The suspenseful and deeply romantic Breaking Dawn continues the epic tale of supernatural fantasy and passionate love that has made The Twilight Saga a worldwide phenomenon.
